As Doctor Connect, our primary aim is to move the healthcare system from this sick care system to preventive and proactive care. What I mean by that is that the system today is that we wait until we become sick, to seek medical care. Sometimes it's too late for us. It becomes very disastrous, when something preventable can kill us.
At Doctor Connect, we have developed a platform to make sure that we give people the opportunity to take control of their own health and live well. God has given us the opportunity to live on this planet earth, the tenor by which we live or the amount of time we live on this earth depends on us greatly. We began to tailor our solution to help a lot of people with kidney issues one, not to develop kidney issues and two, if you develop kidney issues, how do we help you to stay afloat and continue to keep your kidney from getting further damage.
One of the things that bring us joy is when people understand the need to take care of themselves. When people understand this, they have a need to get on the preventive and the proactive side of taking care of themselves. That in mind, one of the things that happened to us lately is that Doctor Connect will be launched on the main campuses of the ISS show Nigeria. We will be able to educate young adults, which is a good age to start molding people about their health, wellness, and eating right. We believe that if we're able to shape the youth of a nation, we can shape the healthcare of that nation because some of these kids will grow up to be the decision maker and policymaker down the road. Getting on the campus and providing this kind of intervention and care on campuses will give us an opportunity to really educate the people that will become our leaders tomorrow.
One thing about healthcare is there are always challenges about so many things and the good thing is having the right people by you to overcome those obstacles. In healthcare, there's no one size fits all so you continue to iterate your product to meet the needs of that one person because healthcare is personalised care. So and then people have been people helping you to stay in compliance is one of the big challenges that we're seeing in healthcare but with constant training and constant follow up we're able to overcome the system. So the big concern, the big challenge is people staying in compliance to what makes them healthier.
Don't build anything for yourself, because the market will reject you. You need to allow the market to tell you what you need to build. It's always good to get as much feedback as possible. For example, right now, we're tweaking part of our management which is a kidney part of the operation and we're very fortunate to be working with Villgro. We have some amazing experts and we've seen how six people have different things to contribute to this thing. So build what the market wants, not what works for you.
Amazing question. I took time to pursue Villgro Africa. I tried many times to apply. At one point I thought I was wasting my time, but I'm glad that I did not quit that I stayed the course to get into the to become a part of the family at Villgro. If you are in healthcare in Africa and you want to make significant progress, Villgro is the place to be and then I liked the niche. The focusing on particular diseases. Special thanks to Amadi who has been my right hand man, both on the investment side and really developing the roadmap. People like Aida who are always there. Villgro has been amazing and if you have been doing anything in healthcare in Africa and you are not on Villgro's radar, I will suggest you get there because you will be working alone by yourself. But with Villgro like the Good Book says Two are better than one and Villgro makes you and your team stronger and better to deliver what you have to deliver.
